The Writing Room

Want to write more in 2021?

Want to stay motivated & focused but can’t find time?

Come join us from anywhere!  The Writing Room is a subscription-based writing community for writers who want to stay motivated and nail their writing goals.

We meet every week via Zoom and we write!  Our members develop a regular writing habit,  enjoy support and most importantly – they keep their projects moving forward.

“It was so great to meet people who are just like me -want to get their damn stories out, but struggle for time!” Susy Egneus

Thank you for another wonderful evening.  I noticed how much sharper I was with my deadline writing yesterday morning too, and I’m sure it was the mental discipline spilling over from the night before.” Robyn Welsh

Last year I was the person who was procrastinating over my novel and its messy ending. Thanks to the weekly accountability this group provides I’ve finished it and posted it to a publisher.”  Sally Christie

Maybe you’ve got ideas but can’t get started.  Or maybe you start off like a champ but lose motivation halfway through. Or maybe you just find it hard to carve out writing time.

You need a regular writing appointment.

Because here’s something all successful writers have in common – they “turn up” and write.

Every Tuesday night we get together on Zoom and we write…

As a Writing Room member – you’ve got a regular, weekly writing appointment PLUS you’re part of a fun, supportive writing community.

I loved the warm-up exercise (really got the creative juices flowing) and felt like I made good strides.. I went in wanting to make the most of the quiet writing time and was writing from beginning to end.Rachel Fawcett

How Does The Writing Room Work?

We get together on Zoom.  The facilitator gives you a fun, writing prompt to get you warmed up and in the zone. We share our writing goal for the evening and then we write together for a couple of hours…

No sharing or critiquing- just focused writing time.

No matter what type of project you’re writing, this group helps you stay motivated and moving forward – AND it costs about the same as two coffees a week – even less if you choose a 3 or 6 monthly subscription.

Our writing time is precious so let’s use it well!

“Thank you Kathryn – I was just thinking about all that positivity yesterday as I walked the dawg. Just gold!” Fiona Mitford

Seriously helpful in enabling you to get sh*t done which is a major hurdle for plenty of writers.Jack Cottrell
